Two different RSVP's are needed. One for the gathering at the hangar and one for the gathering at the winery afterwards. Everyone is invited to both. We just need to account for the food etc.

Just reply to this email and let us know if you will be coming to both events or the remembrance only.

When: May 23, Sunday from 1-3PM at airport and from 3-6PM at Winery.

Where: Sonoma County Airport at my dad's Cessna 310 Hangar then at Carol Shelton winery at 3354B Coffey Lane Santa Rosa, CA.

Dress: Casual. Just like my dad, I want everyone to feel comfortable. I'll be in jeans and a decent shirt.

What is going to happen: From 1-1:30PM will be chit chat and time for people to look all the photos, planes, products, etc of my dad. From 1:30-2:30PM will be brief speeches and stories about the life of my dad by me and anyone that would like to fess up. From 2:30-3PM more chit chat. At 3PM people may leave for the winery. I'll stick around the hangar if anyone wants to spend a little more time there. Barbecued chicken and Tri-tip will be provided by our host Mitch Mackenzie at the winery as well as a slide projector with old photos I found up at my Dads old river house. Many of these pictures will pertain to Rit’s experiences at Hewlett-Packard.

Issues: Airport is a high security Zone. Attendees must stay at the hangar or walk back and forth to the restrooms and cars. No wandering beyond these areas. Parking will be at the lot next to the restrooms and along Becker Blvd. There will be ¼ mile walking to and from your car so I suggest comfortable shoes. If you already have access to the airport please park at your hanger to minimize the overflow at the parking lot.
