With a history of millimeter wave innovations spanning nearly 20 years, this company provides state-of-the-art frequency extension modules and other capabilities in the areas of millimeter wave test and measurement solutions, as well as a broad range of test equipment technical support services.Job Description: Candidate position is for a senior millimeter wave development engineer. Duties include: analyzing millimeter, microwave and RF circuit requirements, conducting circuit design and component trade off studies, research, computer modeling and breadboard prototyping. Functions as lead design engineer, participates in IRAD programs and supports manufacturing. Basic Qualifications: Minimum 5 years related work experience. 20+ years of related work experience is a plus. Extensive knowledge of microwave circuit theory and design techniques, preferably including working knowledge of waveguide, stripline, microstrip, and coaxial transmission concepts and design techniques. Minimum 5 years millimeter wave/microwave component design experience. Must be able to communicate and work effectively with others. US Permanent Resident or US citizen. Desired Skills: Working knowledge of frequency converter design and with broad band and high power design techniques. Working knowledge of common microwave circuit design CAD tools such as Genesis including statistical analysis. Working knowledge of the use and operation of general microwave test equipment such as vector network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, scalar network analyzers and signal generators. Working knowledge of microwave circuit design CAD tools such as HFSS, and MATLAB. Desired Minimum Education (including Major): Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or Physics.
