As I recall, Bill and Dave had to weather some very difficult downturns. I guess there really is no sense comparing legends that were ahead of their time to almost any of todays CEO's though.
I'm sure the decision to remove another benifit wasn't really all that difficult. Yes, Agilent, like all other companies is finding times to be difficult. And they really are, "like all other companies" now, aren't they?
