So, apparently the backup battery finally died in my Palmtop. That, coupled with the regular fading of the AA batteries, left my palmtop completely without power for a few days. So, I replaced the AA batteries first (because I wasn't aware that the backup battery had died) but when the palmtop came back to life, it was completely wiped clean. It was pretending that it had never been used before. Well, I swore at it for awhile but then checked all the backup files that were stored on the flash disk. DAMN! It looks like the flash disk was wiped clean too!! Has anyone else run into this??? I've got a reasonably good number of the backup files on my desktop computer but they're 2 yrs old. I'm still hoping that I can get files off the flash disk... Anyone know if they're still accessible? Howard
